Residence Halls - Hillside

Hillside Room

Approximately 596 first-year students are housed in the Hillside area. Kitchens with microwaves and vending services are located on the first floor of each hall in the Hillside area. Each of these halls has a carpeted TV lounge with an adjoining activity room, as well as recreational equipment such as pool tables and pingpong tables for use by residents.

Hillside and McGraw-Long halls are corridor design with community baths located on each floor. Each community bath is cleaned by

housekeeping staff on a regular basis. Two study lounges are located in Hillside Hall and one study lounge is located in McGraw-Long. Laundry facilities are provided for residents on the first floor.

Bell Hall houses fewer students and is a corridor design with community baths located on each floor. Each community bath is cleaned on a regular basis by housekeeping staff. One study lounge is available. The laundry facility is on the first floor.


Residence Halls - Lake

Eagle Room      Shorts Room

Chandler Hall houses 226 upperclass students. Rooms are arranged in suites with two students to a room and three rooms sharing a bath. Students sharing a bath are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their bathroom. A limited number of single rooms and rooms with private baths are available in Chandler Hall for upperclass students. The second and third floors each have a kitchen with a microwave, two study lounges and a laundry facility.

The first floor provides a TV lounge with adjoining patio and vending services. The corridors, study and TV lounges are carpeted. Chandler has recreational equipment such as pool tables and pingpong tables for use by residents. Chandler also has a computer lab and a basement dining facility.

Eagle Hall houses 434 first-year students on eight floors. Each floor is comprised of three wings of seven double rooms and one wing with six double rooms. Two wings

of residents share a bath. Each bath is cleaned by housekeeping staff on a regular basis. A small kitchen with a microwave is located on each floor, second through eighth, and a large fully equipped kitchen is available on the ground floor. A large, carpeted study lounge is located in the basement. A large, carpeted TV lounge is on the first floor. Eagle has its own laundry facilities. A small number of Eagle rooms are designed for single occupancy. Eagle has recreational equipment such as pool tables and pingpong tables for use by residents.

Shorts Hall houses 208 first-year students in suites of six double rooms that share a common lounge. Two

suites share a bath that is cleaned by housekeeping staff on a regular basis. Located on the first floor are two laundry facilities, a carpeted study lounge and a carpeted TV lounge with vending services. Shorts has recreational equipment such as pool tables and pingpong tables for use by residents.

Each Tree House provides housing for 27 students in double rooms with a community bath located on each floor. Laundry and vending facilities are provided on the second floor. A TV lounge, recreation room, study lounge, kitchen and storage area are located on the ground floor. Basketball courts and sand volleyball are also available.
