The ancient Egyptian collection contains objects from the pre-dynastic through the Coptic periods. Objects range from traditional funerary items through Coptic amulets.
The Greco-Roman collection contains objects from the archaic through early Christian periods. There are several fine pottery pieces that were created by Greek colonists in southern Italy, and so exhibit iconography from the Etruscans, Greeks, and Romans.
