Michael L. Allain is Assistant Professor of History (part-time). He received his Ph.D. in Classics and M.A. in History from Ohio State University, the B.A. from Northeastern Illinois State College (now Northeastern Illinois University). Dr. Allain teaches General Humanities: Foundations of Western Culture (Greeks and Romans.) His research interests include ancient geography, Greek and Roman literature, and classical historiography. He presented "Ovid's Poetry of Exile" at the conference "Living in Exile" at James Madison University in 2002. |
