Children's Books in Special Collections

In the Fall of 2007, students in Dr. Gabrielle Lanier's Introduction to Public History course began researching a group of nineteenth- and early twentieth-century children's books in JMU's Special Collections for an online exhibit.  The volumes range from illustrated alphabet books to collections of fables, Bible stories, nursery rhymes, games, and fairy tales. The completed online exhibit Children's Books in Special Collections will be linked to this page in the summer of 2008.
