Publicizing at JMU is easy, as long as you know how to do it. Most events that clubs, organizations, and departments hold at JMU are great, however getting students to attend them is often difficult. Groups have limited resources to advertise for events. Likewise, students must choose what to do with their limited time. Each year at JMU there are literally thousands of events that people attend, and that are advertised. Everything from residence hall programs, to major concerts, to forums addressing student concerns compete for the 24 hours each student has in a day.
