Biography:

Jill Courson came to JMU in August of 2007 to serve as the Assistant Director of Student Organization Services for FSL. Jill most recently comes to us from the University of Georgia where she advised the student programming board on campus. She also served on the advisory board for her sorority at UGA.

Jill is originally from Arkansas and received her B.S. in Psychology from Southern Arkansas University. She then went on to Oklahoma State to earn her M.S. in Counseling and Student Personnel. At OSU Jill was the graduate advisor to Panhellenic and realized her passion for working with the Greek Community.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Advises the Judicial Process
Advises New Member Education Programming
Plans Officer Leadership Workshop and Retreats
Strategic Planning and Assessment
