The JMU Office of Admissions processes incoming mail and applications in the order in which they are received. We are currently processing on-line applications received on November 18th and mail received November 19th.
Summer and Fall 2010 transfer applicants! Please wait until current Fall 2009 grades are posted on your transcript before completing a transcript request. We need complete data to evaluate your application for admission.
After you submit your application for admission, the JMU admissions staff will e-mail an eight digit Application Reference Number to the address provided. Please enter your Application Reference Number below. Sample status can be viewed by entering 12345678, 23456789, 34567890 below.

Your application reference number is an eight-digit number that was emailed to the applicant approximately one week after the application was submitted.
