Transfer Application Status
Freshman Applicants: Please go to the Freshman page to check your status.
The JMU Office of Admissions processes incoming mail and applications in the order in which they are received. We are currently processing on-line applications received on March 1 and mail received March 2nd.
On February 23rd the Office of
Admissions launched the Applicant Center in MyMadison to replace
this Transfer Application Status site. Please refer to
instructions emailed to the address provided to activate your
JMU e-ID. You can begin this process
here. Be sure to
make note of your JMU e-ID which will display on the screen in
red font.
Once you have successfully activated your JMU e-ID, use the Applicant Center in MyMadison to monitor your application for admission and view your admission decision online. We recommend that you watch our five minute tutorial about our new Applicant Center.

Summer and Fall 2012 transfer applicants: Please wait until Fall 2011 grades are posted on your transcript before completing a transcript request. We need complete data to evaluate your application for admission.
