After you submit your application for admission, the JMU admissions staff will e-mail an eight digit Application Reference Number to the address provided. Please enter your Application Reference Number below. Sample status can be viewed by entering 11111111, 22222222, or 33333333 below.

Your application reference number is an eight-digit number that was emailed to the applicant approximately one week after the application was submitted.

Admission decisions will to be mailed to your home address as well as being posted on a secure server. You will receive separate instructions for accessing your decision before they are posted. Your Application Reference Number will also be required to verify your identity with our Online Decision Notification.
